since se utiliza con un momento concreto en
el tiempo.
for se utiliza con un periodo de tiempo.
How long ?

For a year.
How long have you had your car?
Since January.
Se utiliza How long + present perfect
para preguntar la duracin de una accin.
Present perfect and past simple
En Welcome back! encontrars la forma del
past simple.
Simon worked in London from 1993 to 1995.
Simon has worked in Manchester since 1995.
I lived in Paris for six months last year.
Ive lived in New York for two years.
El present perfect se utiliza para acciones que
comenzaron en el pasado y que continan en
el presente.
El past simple se utiliza para acciones del
pasado que ya han concluido.
