Bell Tower Theater Announces the Iowa Premiere of Always a Bridesmaid

Dubuque, IA- The Bell Tower, your hometown theater, is pleased to announce the Iowa premiere of Always a Bridesmaid by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten and directed by Bell Tower Theater Artistic Director Sue Riedel.

From the authors of The Dixie Swim Club and The Hallelujah Girls, comes a hilarious new comedy. On the night of their Senior Prom four friends swore that they would be in each others weddings...no matter what. Little did they know that 30 years later they would still be keeping that promise! Forsaking all others, in sickness and in health, they repeatedly struggle to stage the perfect wedding in spite of one hilarious catastrophe after another. If youve ever elbowed a stranger to catch a bouquet, seriously questioned the mental stability of the duo saying I do or been forced to wear the worlds ugliest bridesmaid dress, this show is definitely for you!

The production stars Bell Tower Theater veterans Cindy Campton-Iwasaki, Lorie Foley, Patti Giegerich and Debbie Meyer alongside newcomers to the Bell Tower Theater stage Margaret Hogan and Allison Moore. The Bell Tower Theater is located in Fountain Park at 2728 Asbury Road in the citys vibrant West End, just minutes from both Highway 20 and the Northwest Arterial. Performances are Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 pm, and Sunday afternoons at 3 pm from March 28 to April 13, 2014.
