My personal goal for the day is to stick to my time guidelines (particularly for the Do Now and beginning of class) and to effectively frame/expose students to Romare Bearden, an artist who has reinterpreted The Odyssey. I don't feel as though visual art is my forte in explaining it so I'm pushing myself a bit to try to expose them to this in an effective manner.
