Career Related Experience


Began working with horses at the age of five. Purchased my own horse at the age of eleven on September 26th 2003 (Paid a large lump sum of her overall cost myself). Completed all the training on my own horse from the ground up. Responsible for all the expense and maintenance of my own horse since age sixteen. 100% committed to her care. Trained yearlings, saddlebreds, quarter horses and Arabian crosses. Vaccinated and wormed a large number of horses, as well as, cattle and have processed piglets. Treated conditions such as: rain rot, colic, thrush and ulcerated cornea in my own horse. Shown a number of horses awarded 1st place in p leasure and horsemanship at several shows. Strong beliefs in natural horsemanship, but the use of a firm hand is sometimes needed.

Work History
Deer Run Stable Worked with horses on a daily basis. Taught lessons. Tacked and untacked horses for trails. Led trails. Walgreens 1/23/2013-12/23/14 Worked in all these capacities: cashier; photo technician; pharmacy assistant (hold state certification for pharmacy work); inventory/stock management: includes shelf stocking, store sign kits and signage, warehouse returns, and disposal and donation of damaged product. Responsible for greeting customers; weighing produce and calculating price. Making sure stand was fully stocked, maintaining inventory in cooler, cleaning fresh items brought in from the field and preparing them for sale Keeping produce stand clean and neat at all times.
