nears the conclusion of her course work here at UW-Platteville. I have had the opportunity to get to know Jess not only as a committed student, but also as a dedicated athlete. Jess has displayed a successful academic performance balanced with a busy sports calendar including collegiate soccer. She has been dedicated in the classroom as well as on the soccer field. I was Jessicas college soccer coach for the past three years where I had the true pleasure of getting to know Jess and all the positive characteristics she possesses. Jessicas work ethic is what stands out to me the most. Not only does Jess push herself in practice every day but she pushes her teammates to be the best they can be during every training session. Jessicas punctuality is another characteristic of hers that stands out to me. She is always early for every team function and I know she would continue that in her career. I think her punctuality comes from her enthusiasm to get working the second she gets in the facility. Jess is always eager to learn and share her knowledge about health promotion topics with the team. Jessica is very dedicated on the field but it shows in her extracurricular activities in the community as well. Jess has volunteered with numerous community service activities throughout the years. The past three years, she has volunteered at National Girls and Womens Night Out as well as Kids Night Out and has brought encouragement and excitement about active lifestyles to the elementary girls who participate and look up to her. Jess relates to others well and will be very passionate in sharing her knowledge about maintaining a healthy lifestyle throughout her career path. I have no doubt Jess is in the correct field of study and I know she will succeed as an advocate of healthy lifestyles.
