Dear Parents, On Tuesday 22nd April, the Activity Afternoon will take place from 12 - 3 PM.

This is to provide much needed time to work together as a whole faculty. We are taking this opportunity to work with e-Sports to offer a sample of activities and sports and also to begin to develop the GIS Mother Tongue Program. On this day, you can elect to do one of the following: 1. Register your child in a Mother Tongue Club, 2. Register your child in an e-Sports taster activity, or 3. Elect to take them home early. You will make your selection via the Google form using the link below. You will receive a separate email confirming your place from Evan Bryceland / Cathy Hayes within 48 hours of registering. The registration is not confirmation of placement. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1xpl2BxIJyM2hs-SGa7RkSrL2enV7S2kf8Y7h_q26kBI/viewform Option 1 Mother Tongue Club French, German, & Portuguese clubs for native / fluent speakers only Japanese for beginners The clubs will run from 12-3 Ratio of 10:1 allocated on a first come first served basis Open to all students K-5 Led by parent(s) Content may include anything that promotes use of the mother tongue club being offered eg storytelling, reading, writing, arts and crafts, cold cooking, singing, drama etc. Teaching assistants available to provide support Option 2 E-Sports Activity A taster of various sports / activities Open to all students K 5 Limited spaces available Regular E-Sports activities (usually at 3:15 4:15) will take place from 2-3 Option 3 Home Buses will depart at 12:00 for bus students Parents collect students @ 12 If your child is involved in option 1 or 2 and is a regular bus traveler, buses will depart again at 3:10 as per schedule
