THE CARROLL FULFORD FAMILY:

i 3 I97P

MINISTRY TO PORT ELIZABETH, SOUTH AFRICA.

THE PAST

Carroll Fulford hoils from Cope Town, South Africa, where he was born in 1935. He earned his Bachelor of Theology degree from Minnesota Bible College in 1960. In that same year he returned to Cape Town, South Africa with his wife, Nancy, who is from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and daughter, Alandro, He estoblished a new church in his home suburb of Wynberg in Cape Town, ond did evangelistic work in Pretoria. Returning to the States he took some graduate studies at Lincoln Christian Seminary, and ministered at the Tinley Park Church of Christ near Chicago for 3 years. In 1966 the Fulfords returned to South Africa to
minister in Port Elizabeth, 500 miles east of Cape Town. He established the Port Elizabeth Christian Church, published "THE BIBLE NEWS", led in several weekly Bible Studies, trained 12 African men as church leaders, and conducted evangelistic campaigns within a 200 mile radius of the city. Ill health of their baby son, Timothy, caused the Fulfords to return to the

Siates in 1969 together with their other daughter, Sandra.

THE PRESENT

Carroll is now ministering to the New Brighton Christian Church near St. Paul, Minnesota, having started there on October 4, 1969. Their son, Timothy, responded well to treatment and is now perfectly well. In the mean time news has come

from the African brethren in Port Elizabeth of the increasing need for CarrolL^ to return to that ministry. The African Christians are much like the Jews of Jj
Paul's day. They hove a tremendous zeal for God, but so often it is not according to knowledge. They urgently need training, encouragement and guidance in the way of the Lord. Carroll is now seeking support
for his return to that ministry.
