ELM 322 Control Systems Laboratory: EXPERIMENT 4: Chapter 8, Root-Locus Techniques
By finding necessary parameters such as break-away or break-in points, imaginary axis crossing points and departure angles from complex poles. 2- Repeat Prelab 1 for the same function by adding a real pole at -3 to the system. 3- Repeat Prelab 1 for the same function by adding a real zero at -3 to the system.
LABORATORY
1- Using Matlab, root locus command and SISO design tool plot the root-locus of given system in Prelab 1. 2- Using Matlab, root locus command and SISO design tool plot the root-locus of given system in Prelab 1. 3- Using Simulink, root locus command and SISO design tool plot the root-locus of given system in Prelab 1.
POST LAB:
Use your plots from Lab 1, Lab 2 and Lab3 and compare both root-locus diagrams.
