Why and what investment which will serve his objective; what will be the outcome; What kind aof risk will he take( risk averse) And what will be return from that money.

Ans. General Information:

Age: 65 years

Total Amount: 1 Crore and 5 lakh

In order to talk about the assumptions which are as follows:

(a) He is married and has two children and has inherited property.

He would invest Rs.1 Crore and 5 lakh in different portfolio . He basically takes risk at lower rate and generally go for safe investment in order to feel secure in his rest of the life. In fact, he like to invest for the securing the future for him and his family. His investment portfolios are as follows:

Equity Gold Debentures Children Insurance Policy Fixed Deposit(for 5 years)

2,00,000 20,00,000 50,00,000 25,00,000 3,00,000

So, it is basically shows that he is risk averse person. He tends to invest more in debentures, fixed deposit as it get fixed rate of return and have no risk on return as it happens in equity(high risk and high return concept) and also can use the amount for his personal work. . He also tends to invest in gold also as he to save for its children for their marriage. And one of the reason he will invest in Gold because it have good and better chance of capital appreciation.

From the above income he can able to utilize the income for the planning for the better future of the family i.e. he can use the amount generated from different investment schemes in marriage of their children or planning for the further studies.

Even, he can fulfill the requirements by purchasing the property for his children.

So, low risk and steady return on investment will be suitable for fulfilling his safe and sufficient requirement.
