Loretta died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at home after a 4 year fight with cancer. Loretta will be remembered by all who knew her for the strength and grace she showed over these years, as well as her love for life, family and friends. Career: Public Information Officer, Burlington County, recently retired Recent Life Accomplishments and Honors "Loretta O'Donnell Burlington County Courage Award" 2013 "Loretta O'Donnell, who in the face of adversity, has demonstrated extraordinary strength of character, has emerged as an outstanding role model for others, and has touched and inspired us all"(Namesake and Recipient) South Jersey Magazine "Superwoman Award" 2013 Loretta inspired as a tireless volunteer of cancer causes and fundraising: Cooper Cancer Survivors' Day Feature writer to Cooper Cancer Keynote Speaker 2013 Survivor Times newsletter Active volunteer for Colon Cancer Honored volunteer for Stowe Alliance Vermont Weekend of Hope Volunteer Supermodel for Hope (inset) in NYC Fashion Week Gala PLITZS Charity Fundraising 2013 for benefit of Beat Liver Tumors Loretta and her husband Bill were loyal parishioner of St. John Neumann Parish, Mount Laurel.
The viewing will be held on Saturday, April 19th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 AM on Monday, April 21st at Saint John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, 560 Walton Ave, Mount Laurel. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
