Narrative

I choose this activity because it requires to students to first establish how they will find the original person with the disease. In this activity, students each have a test tube with liquid in it. Only one has a specific chemical in it that when mixed with an indicator turns pink. Each student is allowed to swap fluids with five other students. These are the only directions they are given. It is up to the students to determine which method to use to find the original carrier of the disease. Students must ask questions to each other and to themselves in regards to how they are going to solve the dilemma.

Reflection
This activity went well with the different classes. The students were extremely engaged in the activity. Some of the hours caught on to what they need to do in terms of finding the original carrier by determining who exchanged with whom. The only thing I would do differently is adding more content explanation after the activity. They already know about the spread of disease. The debriefing I would do would look a little different.

Evidence
This activity requires students to share body fluids with the other students in the classroom. The objective was to determine who originally had the disease by discovering who swapped bodily fluids with whom.
