Kristen Beyer was a student teacher under my supervision during the Fall, 2013 term at lsbister Elementary School in Plymouth, Michigan. Kristen student taught in a first grade classroom and had the opportunity to work in various subject areas. Kristen satisfied all requirements for completing her student teaching assignment. She was well-organized and efficient in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all lesson work. She interacted professionally with me, with her principal, cooperating teacher, other staff, and with her students. She was adept at incorporating suggestions for improvements into her daily work and eager to meet all needs, both teaching and disciplinary, of the students she worked with. Her original unit work was outstanding. Kristen's student teaching indicated much potential suc@ss in a teaching career. She has much to contribute to an elementary staff.
