Raymond English 1102 Status of our Semester Long Project Parker and I have not really strayed from our original plans to research the history and evolution of sporting clays. Our purpose still remains to educate the class on the etiquette, history and the magnitude of the sport. We have noticed that there is a seemingly infinite information and the broadness of shotgun sports in general. Just as it is important to sporting clays, I plan to educate the class on the importance of gun safety. Parker and I both were brought up shooting sporting clays and preached the importance of gun safety. We can testify to what can happen if everyone on the range doesnt know the ins and outs of gun safety. We have decided to present some videos as we believe that it will best be able to show our audience firsthand what sporting clays is all about. Since we are doing a presentation about firearm sports, we our limited to the interactive opportunities to choose from. But we still plan to make our presentation as interactive as possible. Although we have not changed the idea of our project, I still believe our original topic is heading in correct direction. The main struggle that we experience will editing what information we want to include and what parts we want to explore, because it would be impossible to cover sporting clays in just 15 minutes, because it is such a vast topic. I look forward to our presentation and research because it is about something Parker and I both are highly fond about.
