Television journalism major minoring in history, who truly believes that this major is the perfect fit. Extremely interested in speaking with, and learning about, as many people as possible. Always very eager to learn all aspects of the field.

News Reporter at W-WVU University Radio Station
Writes multiple weekly newscasts to read on air. Puts together packages to be played on air. Interviews subjects, types scripts, used Audacity. Has hosted a talk show on current local, and national events.

I am receiving my bachelors in Television Journalism and a minor in history. I have an overall GPA of 3.5. I will be graduating in May of 2015. I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and ED 2010 Journalism club. Relevant completed course work: Broadcast News Writing, Media Writing, Visual Journalism, Television Editing, Introduction to Mass Communications, Public Communications. Course work to be completed by the end of the current semester: Beginning Television Reporting, Public Affairs Reporting, Media Ethics and Law.
Skills
I have knowledge in working with Final Cut, Audacity, and Pro Tools. I have also worked with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver to create multiple projects. I have experience in working with camera equipment, and microphones and I also have extensive experience shooting and editing video. I know how to operate the boards for radio productions.
