Lifelong Wellness Application Paper


Write a paragraph on each of the following:
1. What did you learn about lifelong wellness from taking this General Education class? I learned that you don't have to be working your heart rate for every work out you do. I learned how great my body would feel while I streched and relaxed my body. I learned about the different Shakras there are and that we need to love and accept ourselves for who we are.

2. How would you apply this information to your life? I want to take what I learned from yoga and apply it to my life everyday. I get stressed out very easily. I want to remember the different breathing techniques that I learned from this class and use it in the everyday world. I learned how to go to a different palce in my mind rather than thinking negative thoughts.

3. What is your intention to continue to practice what you have learned in your life and why? I would love to continue doing yoga every morning. I love the way that it makes me feel happy while I am practicing as well as after. I want to imrove my skills and get stronger, ohysically and mentally.

4. General ideas for improving this course? I do not have any general ideas for improving this class! I really enoyed it. It pushed me, but didn't ever feel frustrated because I could not do something. I liked that the music was swithced up and although we repeated poses, it was never the same day twice! I really liked the versatility.
