Anya sat down at the table and grabbed the dry erase marker and then began to write letters on the board. She said " I can write play and started to write a P she then asked what comes next I asked her to sound it out she said pah-l-ay and wrote Pla down on the paper. she was holding her pencil the correct way and wrote ledgible letters.

Anya picked up a Barbie book and sat on carpet she quielty looked at the page and then turned the pages in the correct order and pointed to some of the pictures and talked about the story to D who was looking at the book with her. Anya told her that "Barbie was playing with her little sister and took care of her. Then they danced the ballet and went to bed. The end." Anya then closed the book and looked at D and said "see this says Barbie plays with her sister" She then got up walked to the book shelf and put the book away.

Clean up time and the kids were running around Anya started to pick up the toys and put them in the correct bins. Once she finished at the tables she went to house area and helped the other girls clean up and then she went to carpet and picked up the games with J and S.

Anya cut out the green, yellow, and red circles holding the scissors the correct way and right near the line. She then glued the circles onto the black paper in the same order as a stop light.

Anya sat at the table grabbed the graham cracker and a red, yellow and green m & m and then said " I am ready now." I took a spoon full of chocolate frosting and gave it to Anya I told her to spread the frosting onthe graham cracker and then place the m & m's in the correct position just like on the traffic lights. she spread the frosting on the graham cracker and the put the red , yellow, and green m & m in that order top to bottom on the cracker and said look i did it just like the lights we stop at.

ANya sat down at the table and asked to make and airplane. I gave her some popcicle sticks and some twine and told her to wrap it around them in a cross like form and then you can decorate your airplane, but put your name on it. SHe put the sticks in a cross like

pattern and then wrapped the twine around the sticks and showed me her airplane. I then reminded her to put her name on it and then she could decorate it.

Anya picked up the pen and held it in a 3pt grip she then wrote A N Y A on the paper and said "Look I spelled my name, A-N-Y-A, Anya!"

Anya is playing with 3 other children. She says, "J you are the mommy and I am the kid" J gives Anya a plastic egg and then grabs it out of her hand saying "no that is mine now" Anya said "you gave it to me" and J said "no I let you hold it." Anya turned around and grabbed another egg and said " well this one is mine, now we both have one."

Anya sat down at the math table and grabbed the unifix cubes. I asked her what colors she was going to use and she stated "yellow and red" she then started to connect the cubes together red, yellow, red, yellow, and so on. I asked her what pattern she mad and she said "red yellow red yellow red yellow and now red again" she then counted how many red cubes and how many yellow. "there is 4 red and 3 yellow"

Anya sat down at the table and said "can I do it now" I said yes and gave her a ball of dough. I told her that we are making fossils and Anya pushed the dinosaur in the dough and said "I made a fossil, can I make another one?" She pushed another dinosaur into the dough with both hands and told D "you can make another one too." THen Anya balled the dough up and then pushed it flat and said "look I made a pizza" anya put the dinosaur in the middle and covered the dough around it. Anya then took the dinosaurs out and flattened the dough again this time she made foot prints with the dinosaurs and said look one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve....twelve footprints.

Group time and they were discussing a name for their class stuffed dinosaur. The choices were Happy Mickey and Spanky. One by one Ms. Connie asked each child what name they chose and then place a little card with the child's name on in it by the chosen name making a graph. then Anya and the other children counted Happy had one, spanky had none, and then they got to Mickey each time Ms. connie put her finger on a name the children counted they counted from one to 10 and shouted out that Mickey had

the most and Ms. Connie said that was the dino's name! The kids laughed and clapped.

Large Motor exercies Children were on the carpet in a circle and Ms. Connie turned on a cd and it started to tell the children to reach high and low. Anya and the rest of the children followed the directions that the cd told them to. After the cd was over the children ran to centers to play Anya came over to me and said " at gymnastics I stretched like that" I said "oh yeah, do you stretch before or after you start class" and she said "we do it before and after class, we have to the teacher says so" She then ran off to play with D and H in house area.

Anya and another child were reading a book together at the table. They would take turns telling the story, everytime they turned the page (the correct way) one of them would begin to tell a short story of what was going on on that page. Anya would point to the words as she told her story. The other child would point at the pictures and then tell her story.

After reading the story Bones, Bones, Bones, Ms. Connie asked the children if dinosaurs were still alive and Anya replied No she then asked what is left of dinosaurs and H said hair and Anya said "no bones are left and that is it." Ms. Connie asked why only the bones were left and Anya said " because all the dinosaurs are gone for good, they were really really old and they are not around anymore, all the bones are buried in the dirt.

Anya and her dad came into the classroom, Anya went over to the cubby area and said her is my hook and then placed her coat on the hook, looked at her dad and said bye dad and waved she then went to play with another child in the house area. Where she began to count the money in the register "one, two, three, four five" and hand it to the other child she was playing with. She got up gave the child some food and told her "there is your food you paid for now go home and eat it."

Anya sits quietly on the carpet her hands to herself looking towards Ms. Connie, the other children are off of their letters, or laying down. Ms. Connie asked a question about the weather and Anya raised her hand and waited until Ms. Connie called on her and then Anya said "its windy outside, like yesterday."

During transistion time the children were doing Teddy Bear Teddy Bear before going to wash their hands. It was Anya's turn and she followed the directions of the song, turned around touched the ground reached up high and then choice a friend "D". SHe then went straight to the sind and washed her hands using soap as she rubbed them together and then rinsed them off.

The teacher asked to kids to stand for the pledge of Alliegence and put your right hand on your heart. Anya followed the directions stood and placed her right hand over her heart. Anya and the class then followed the teacher in reciting the pledge. She recited it word for word.
