Dear Parents and Explorers
We will not be meeting over the next two weeks (11 and 18 of April) due to the Easter break. We will
return on 25 April.

Challenge 14

In July will be attending the county camp at Bramham Park for the challenge 14 event there will be a lot
of activities for the Explorers to do and we will be camping with the rest of the district the cost for full
participation is 55 whilst this may seem a lot of money there are a lot of fun and interesting activities are
available including paint Balling if you are interested in attending can you please return the attached
interest form after the Easter break

Aldwark

The annual watersports weekend at Aldwark has been moved to the weekend of 25 June to 27 June we
have been allocated 11 spaces and this will be on a first come first served basis if you are interested in
attending please return the interest forms after the Easter break the first 11 will receive places anyone
after will be placed in a reserve queue

Gala fundraising day 14th of June

Flyers have been sent out to all scout groups that were at the leaders meeting with strong interest from
Beaver and Cub sections. If all goes well and the weather remains good we should have a very
entertaining fundraising gala day planned.


On the 2
nd
of May we will be meeting at Phoenix Campsite in Morley, we have been asked to assist the
district with erecting the tent accommodation for the district cubs Star wars camp, following this we will
stay on site and have a campfire and have some pizzas and maybe a few games, we will be meeting at
7.30 as usual and expected end time will be 10-10.30
