Successfully identify students using both district data and common assessments to group by ability level for
math and Language Arts. By grouping students and organizing them into small group activities I met the
needs of these diverse learners.

Successful increase both Dibels, Acuity and end of year assessments in my students in a significant manner
to ensure that the vast majority of students were at or above the proficient level. This was achieved by
successfully implementing DeFour's PLC model and examining data as a grade level team, reviewing
common assessments made by the grade level team to group students who are in need of re-teaching and
scaffolding to increase their learning. As a grade level team we identified who on the team was most
qualified to re-teach a subject to these students and then structured our re-teaching to allow this to occur.

Responsible for a diverse type of learners including ESL, Gifted and Talented and Behavioral issues and to
manage those students to maximize their success. I have been able to take difficult students and help them
to turn their behavior and academic struggles into success by providing structure, support, modified
assignments while building rapport so that these students can maximize their learning.
