[10 marks] Read the passage below and answer the question that follows.

Every child starts off thinking his father is a hero. What exactly does a hero do? He comes to the rescue when he needs to, of course! I cannot count the numerous times my father has come to my rescue. Once, when my motorcycle could not start, I woke my father up and he drove all the way to pick me up. He is also helpful and patient. He does not mind sending my mother to work even though she is capable of driving herself. In addition, he is a great handyman too. Any time a gadget stops functioning, I take it to him. He does not complain about spending a whole afternoon trying to fix it. He even runs errands for me without complaining like driving me to the bank because he knows finding a parking spot is not easy. In so many ways, my father sets the best example for me as he is a perfect gentleman. Every time we go out to eat, he will stand in line and order while I mother and I sit and wait. He even shells the prawns and crabs for us. He spends a lot of time with us by watching television, sharing a bowl of 'cendol' or going grocery shopping together. This makes him a special friend. I realise I am blessed and thank God for giving me the best father any child could wish to have.
