It is being renamed Transferology. In addition, a new Transfer Credit Guide is available for student and advisor use an will display the most updated information about credit equivalencies.

This is the OLD transient permission form! An updated form can be accessed on the KSU transfer center webpage.

Credit Evals 50 Points

QUESTION:
What is the name of the system used by the Transfer Center to complete transfer credit evaluations?

ANSWER:
As of January 6, 2014, the Transfer Center uses Banner TA to complete credit evaluations. This system allows evaluations to be viewed by students and advisors immediately!

KSU Transient Process

Questions with equivalencies: Check Transfer Credit Guide; Contact the transfer articulation committee representative in your college/ major. Once approval has been granted by the faculty member, indicate that the form should be signed and returned (to keep a copy for your records and to send the completed form to the Transfer Center.) Email completed transient form to transfer@kent.edu Subject: Transient Permission form for [First Name, Last Name, KSU ID] Follow-Up email will be sent to students after semester of transient work ends and corresponding transcripts have not been received. Advisors can access the student form in Banner via SOAPCOL.

For

students admitted on probation with 2.0 GPA or lower, the probation pin is replaced/ overridden by the TKS pin.

No Credit Awarded: SHATRNS
After adding Student ID, do not Next Block Choose Transfer Institution Number Double click the institution you are reviewing. Choose the Attendance Period. There will only be one attendance period for students who didnt earn credit at that institution. Double Click the Attendance Period. Next Block twice.

Reason for no credit awarded will be in the title (i.e. insufficient grade, withdrew from course, institution not accredited, etc.)
