What is it?

El Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the

Dead, is a traditional Mexican holiday representing indigenous traditions honoring the dead It is not a sad time, but instead a time of remembering and rejoicing.

People begin by preparing to

gather flowers, especially Cempaxuchitl flowers

Cempaxuchitl flowers represent the dead. That is the reason they use them in graves and altars.
