    The Reserve Bank of India increased the repo rate by 0.25% to 7.75% and the reverse repo rate by 0.25% to 6.75% in its October 2022 monetary policy review. The marginal standing facility (MSF) and bank rates were decreased by 0.25% to 8.75%. The CRR and SLR rates were unchanged at 4% and 23%, respectively. The difference between the repo rate and MSF rate is now 100 basis points, down from 150 basis points earlier.
