THE ANACONDA

BY: NIKA
The anaconda snake is a
reptile. It is nocturnal
so it hunts at night.
They are cold blooded
and get bigger each
year. The longest one
found was 37.5ft(11.4m
long).
The anaconda snake
lives in North America
in tropical rainforest
near swampy areas.
They live in the forest
floor where they search
for prey.
The anaconda has very
wide jaws. their scales
are green and brown.
They also have oval
spots. They also have
white markings at the
side.
The anaconda eats a lot
of animals. Because
they’re carnivores.
They eat pigs, deer,
caiman, birds and other
animals.
In this report Nika used
http://www.enchantedl
earning.com/subjects.r
ainforest/
and David Burnie The
Concise Animal
Encyclopedia.
The anaconda snake is a
good climber, but it
spends much of it’s
time near water
catching animals
coming down to drink.
Wow there are a lot of
facts in this report
about the anaconda.
People should be very
careful around ponds,
drinking holes, swamps
and other water places.
