Process report Writing Folder 1 The images above are presenting how the chocolate is being made.

. The whole process consists out of 10 stages beginning with picking out the red pods and finishing with produced liquid chocolate. First of all, the ripe red pods are carefully chosen from the cacao tree. The origin of the trees is S. America, Africa or Indonesia. At the second stage, the pods are being harvested resulting white cacao beans. Thirdly, the process of fermentation begins and after that the beans are left to dry on a seethrough table which is directed to the sun. Next, the sacks are filled with dried beans which are transported by train or lorry to the factory. Then, the beans are termically processed at 350 C. After that, circular machine crushes the beans causing the outer shell to be demolished. The reason why is because the outer shell is inedible. Finally, using the cylindrical wheels, the liquid chocolate is made.
