Objective
My ultimate goal is to gain professional experience in industry, in the classroom, in the laboratory, and in the field while collaborating with field-veterans, students, and the general public.

Qualifications:
Efficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal skills, strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.

Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Geological Science, Minor in Science Education (UFTeach); I will graduate on May 04th, 2014. University of Florida

Experience:
Florida Museum of Natural History: Public Programs Intern (Spring 2012-Spring 2014) Public Programs- Assisted coordinator with community and educational programming; organized data collection on a STEM education research project; interviewed, trained, and lead junior volunteers; curriculum developer for staff in the Center for Science Learning (including 8 certified teachers). Exhibits- Implemented creative ideas with design team; developed information manuals and delegated tasks to docents from them, edit information to be publicly presented, improved attendance statistics with slight modifications. School Programs- Spearheaded the Floridas Fossils Inquiry Boxes project for use by Alachua County Public School teachers. Alachua County Public Schools Volunteer: (Fall 2011-2013) Science Fair Judge Leader- Oversaw 20 Earth & Space Science judges including Physics, Botany, Geology, Archaeology, Chemistry etc. and directed plans and methods of group. Educator with the End of Day Enrichment Program: Created a Geological curriculum rich in the fundamentals of Field Methods and Florida Paleontology and taught it to over 100 afterschool students. Volunteer- GeoGators guest educator and Carreer Day Geologist at local elementary schools. Iceland Volcanology Field Camp: South Dakota School of Mining and Technology (Summer 2011) Student/Explorer- Completed projects regarding basaltic and rhyolitic lava flows, tephra characterization, phreatomagmatic features, subglacial volcanism, GPS monitoring, & geothermal power. Projects assigned on active volcanic systems, in Late Pleistocene/ Holocene volcanic fields, and in the Tertiary volcanic stratigraphy exposed in glacial valleys of Iceland. Valet Services: The Breakers Hotel, Palm Beach Island (March 2011- August 2011) Facilitated customer relations in a Five Diamond hotel, while driving manual transitions. Blue Water School of Surfing (August 2005-May 2012) Mentored over 1,000 students in all, coached each day on surfing basics and taught ocean and environmental safety skills and protocols.
