KSU students dance for 12 hours, raise funds for Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals
Kennesaw, Ga. (April 17, 2014) Kennesaw State University will host its 6th annual Dance Marathon (DM) on April 26, to raise $100,000 for Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals. This event was founded to inspire students and community members to dance for the kids who cant and literally not stop moving for 12 hours. During DM, attendees will learn a choreographed dance, play games and compete on teams, meet CMNH miracle families, hear their stories, and have the opportunity to donate to local hospitals. Dance Marathon is a fun and inspiring way to raise money for Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals. By midnight we may be exhausted and lacking energy, but thats when we have to think about the kids that fight for their lives daily. These kids inspire us to keep moving, and not stop until our goal is reached, says Abbey Miller, KSU Dance Marathon participant. Country artist, Corbett Jackson, will make a guest appearance at this years DM during one of the breaks where attendees are encouraged to stay standing and active. Other live entertainment including a comedy performance, swing dance lessons, and a disk jockey will be provided.
