Scenario: You are asked to design a 30 minute engaging instructional lesson for a PreK-20 grade of your choice, for subject of your choice. For my scenario I chose to do Kindergarten with the subject of math. The children will develop math skills by doing group work on math worksheets and going over flash cards. Once they get the practice in and get more than half the flash cards correct they get to go on the smart board and play whichever math app they would like.

Learning Objective(s)

Activities (Assessments & Content Experiences) (acceptable evidence, key indicators of success, short-term & long-term progress, baseline data) By having majority of the flash cards in the correct pile will show the students understand the math. The worksheets will be filled out and correct.

Description of Activities:
For this first activity the children will have a stack of flash cards. The flash cards are going to contain simple addition and subtraction math problems. If they solve it correct they will place the card into one pile. If the get it wrong it gets placed in a separate pile.

Second activity involves math worksheets. The worksheets are going to be fun because it is going to be interactive. There are going to be game pieces and different colored rubber animals which they will separate into colors and numbers.

Assessment:
They will be assessed by how many cards they have in the correct pile.

The second part will be assessed depending on how they separate their objects by color and number.
