Once connected with culture and identity SS will analyze the difference between multiculturalism and interculturalism. Activity: In teams students will be given a country or an ethnicity and they will present it to the group. Each team will create a chart comparing their given culture with Mexico. SS will research the different cultural expressions that are present in Mexico and present an essay on the importance of multiculturalism and interculturalism. Teacher will present the concept of globalization and the students will research the threats it presents to the national identity. SS will work on the integration of all the information regarding the academic fair presentations. Closing Activity Teacher and Students Activities Teams will present a first draft of their galleries to get feedback on it. The corrections to the work will be reviewed in order to iron out details for the academic fair. A trial run of the academy fair will take place in the classroom as rehearsal for the event to correct problems with presentations.
