*For 10 pts. extra credit toward your homework grade you may bring in a bottle hand sanitizer or a box of Kleenex.
Classroom Expectations
Be Prompt Outside of the classroom when the bell rings is NOT on time. Enforcement of the
schools tardy policy is required and may result in detentions, calls to parents and office referrals. Be Prepared Have your assignments READY to hand in as you walk into the class. You will not have ANY time to finish assignments on the day they are due. Have your supplies. EACH CLASS you will need a pencil. You are expected to have other supplies as well and are responsible for all of the work regardless of what you bring with you to class. Be Polite and Positive Every student has the right to feel secure and safe in the classroom. Be respectful of all classmates, property and your teacher. Treat others as you would want to be treated.
Be in Dress Code When you enter the room you must have the proper clothing as listed in
the student hand book as well as SHIRTS tucked in, POLOS buttoned, BELTS on and PANTS at the waist. It is an expectation that you remain in dress code while in the building. Be Productive - It is my job to teach you and your job to learn. While you are here use your time wisely. Adequate time will be given to complete assignments if you start work promptly.

Hall Passes
Students are encouraged to use the restroom between classes to minimize missed classroom time. Students may NOT leave the room in the first and last 15 minutes of the class period, nor may they leave during instructional time. Students my take care of their restroom and water needs during independent practice unless instructed otherwise by a physicians note. Any student who abuses the policy will lose all restroom privileges for the remainder of the year.
Tardy Policy
You will be marked tardy if you are not standing inside the classroom when the bell stops ringing. You will be counted absent if you are not in the classroom after the first 15 minutes. 1st Tardy = Warning 2nd Tardy = 15 min Detention 3rd Tardy = Office Referral
Grading System
30% homework, class work, class participation 20% lab participation and reports 10% quizzes 20% tests 20% six weeks project/tests
