Essay must have a cover page with ONLY the following: title of essay; student name; course number; instructors name; date (no images or pictures!!!)
Essay must have a finalized bibliography on a separate page in proper APA format / sources listed in alpha order by authors last name.
Content Note: Not all of these will apply to every topic. If your topic does not have human casualties, for example, you can skip that part. Background information on the area affected by this disaster. Include information on the types of ecosystems, population size, historical references, and any other pertinent facts.
Complete description of what happened, including causes, persons at fault, response, cleanup, etc.
Environmental Concepts: Tie this disaster to relevant environmental concepts from the class notes and the appropriate chapter of the textbook. Clearly explain the connection with the water and/or carbon cycle.
Damage report: Were lives lost? Ecosystems destroyed? Include both short-term and long-term effects.
Lessons learned from the disaster any laws or regulations that were passed, or policy decisions made as a result.
Could this happen again? What are other areas or installations that face similar risks?
