Sample of professional letter denying a request

April 3, 2014 Arman Aryai Chartered Accountant Suite 203 Pico Building 1405 Bower Boulevard Vancouver, BC, V6L 1Y3 Dear Mr. Aryai I have received your complaint regarding Mr. Bryant Haperot and understand that high levels of noise can be stressful for a business like yours, and I apologize for the noise level. You have been a good tenant for a number of years and would like to continue to have your tenancy. As a landlord, it is my duty to ensure all tenants are following the bylaws and the building is kept up to standards. I have read over your complaint and looked into the buildings bylaws thoroughly. At this time, evicting Mr. Haperot is not an option because he has not broken a bylaw. However, I have discussed the noise levels with him and advised him that it is disruptive to other tenants. He has agreed to try and book late afternoon appointments, if possible. Your complaint has been recorded and I will continue to monitor the noise level. Enclosed is a copy of the bylaws. I thank you for bringing this to my attention and encourage you to come forward with any issues. Cordially

Robert Hsu
