David Wiles Professor Miner ENGL 2010 4/30/2014 Self-Reflection of ENGL 2010 Course The English 2010 course that I have chosen to attend this semester has been my favorite course yet. I have always wanted to learn how to write in multiple genres, and I feel that I have improved greatly over these past few months. I have decided to share three of my most prized papers I have recently created with the help of this course. The peer reviews I have received will also be treasured throughout my academic adventure. The other members of this class have played a large role in my growth. My professor has also proven to be one of my cornerstones to success in this class. She has greatly contributed to helping me feel welcomed as a student. The profile paper will prove useful in allowing the reader to discover my ability to focus on one person, and my capability in persuade the audience to follow that specific person whom I am writing about. The position piece that I have decided to share will allow those who are interested in my work to discover some of my personality. I devoted much effort to showing the readers the passion I have for the members of my local community, especially the newer members. I also revealed a personal skill that I have that has become a tool in persuading the audience that I can relate to those I am addressing. The proposal I have developed is my favorite paper I have created so far. I feel that I have grown in knowledge about the current environmental status in my nation through this paper. The intention of my proposal is to make the nation a cleaner place for all, which will allow for healthier youth, and longer lasting life. This paper shows that I know how to present my purpose, and follow through with providing a solution on how to solve time-pressing issues.
