I believe that each and every child is special and able to bring unique qualities to society. It is my goal to guide these children to be productive, functional members in this society. I believe that the arts are a way to connect with and inspire students. It is my job to make each and every child have a sense of security within my classroom. To accomplish this I will be a compassionate and caring individual who teaches them to respect themselves and others. I will be nurturing to my students as well, since many of them may not be nurtured at home. It is my responsibility to make children feel as though they belong and that someone cares for them.
