Ewing Environmental Commission (EEC) @ ComFest TCNJ 10/10/09

The EEC thanks you for stopping by our table under the big tent on a rainy day, and
along with the EHS EnviroEarth club advised by science teacher Kevin Kolans, trying
your hand at our quiz and raffle. Thanks to Ewing’s Recycling Coordinator Tom Elder
for providing recycling bags, pencils, fridge magnets and stickers. Also thanks to
Watershed Ambassador Angela Adams for posters and handouts and especially for
demonstrating her EnviroScape to young people.

Congratulations to the winners of 4 Trenton Devils ice hockey tickets, Elane Schwartz of
Rebecca Court and 4 Trenton Thunder baseball tickets, Veronica Gerlach of Parkside
Avenue in Ewing.

Congratulations also to the top scorers on our quiz. With 51 attempts, none got a perfect
score, but Yu Pocharon of Springmeadow Drive in Ewing got 6 of 7 right, while Rebecca
Lynn of River Road in Ewing, Gavin Wilson of Sandy Lane in Ewing and Assemblyman
Reed Gusciora of Maclean Steet in Princeton each got 5 right. [Of the rest attempting the
quiz, 6 people got 4 right, 14 got 3, 14 got 2, 9 got 1 and 4 got 0. For you statisticians, a
bell curve.] We're looking forward to seeing all who participated next year when we
hope to present another quiz!
