INTRO

Titration is the procedure used to determine the concentration of some substance by the controlled addition of a solution into a reaction vessel (flask) from a burette. By using titration, we can determine the precise endpoint of the reaction and the precise quantity of reactant in titration flask. Burette used to deliver the second reactant into the titration flask. NaOH pellets form as colourless solution when water is added in as NAOH is soluble in H2O. The colourless KHP solution added with NaOH solution will achieve end point when phenophatelein brings about pink pale solution. The colourless solution turns pink indicates it has reached the pH value of 7 or greater than 7, which is the neutral point (Clark, 2002). As the following, (Equation 1.0).
KHP(aq)+NaOH(aq) NaKP(aq)+H2O(aq) KHC8H4O4 + NaOH(aq) NaKC8H4O4+H2O (Equation 1.0)

NaOH and the acetic acid in vinegar were mixed and neutralisation occur between them. As the following equation, (Equation 2.0).
NaOH+HC2H3O2 NaC2H3O2+H2O (Equation 2.0)

Phenolphthalein turned the vinegar solution into pink coloured as the titration of vinegar solution has reached the end point.
