    Parkside Credit Union is seeking a Marketing Intern to work at its Livonia location for the duration of the summer.

    Candidates should be full- or part-time undergraduate college students studying marketing, communication, public relations, advertising or another related field. Please note this is an unpaid position.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Manage Credit Unions social media accounts Event Planning. Small to mid-sized events Event Preparation and Destruction Media Relations; including writing press releases and following up with media contacts Newsletter copy creation as needed Inventory of materials as needed Additional tasks and projects set forth by Internship Coordinator

    Skills/Abilities:

    Excellent oral and written communication Strong attention to detail Strong organizational and project management skills Working knowledge of AP Style Strong knowledge of social media and analytics Ability to take on multiple tasks while completing tasks to the best of your ability Ability to work independently as well as in group settings Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
