It is with great interest that I enclose my resume for the music instructor position open at <school>. I have
completed two undergraduate degrees at Northern State University, music education (specialization in
voice) and musical theatre performance. At Northern State University, I have had the opportunity to
participate in a number of leadership roles and have worked closely with students and faculty. I am a highly
qualified candidate for the music instructor position at <school>.

I have recently completed my highly successful teaching internship in music at Aberdeen Roncalli Catholic
School. Through this experience, I was able to further my teaching experience and develop a better
understanding of teaching music to all children K-12. Along with my teaching experience, I have had the
opportunity to play Division II sports in the areas of basketball and track and field, furthering my
experience with keeping and organized schedule and time management. These two sports combined with
both my music education, and musical theatre degree, I was able to complete college as a well-rounded
individual with the ability to communicate with any audience.
