 Anecdote

 Harrison Nyongosa, an African that desperately wanted an

education, decided to apply to a nearby school. At his
interview, he discovered that it would be at least $100 to pay
for education, supplies, and uniform.
 Lack of Education and Income

 In Africa, roughly 80% are illiterate because of their lack of

education.

 Many Africans cannot afford a proper education because many

people in Kenya do not have jobs for adequate income.
 Level of Education

 Even if Africans can attend school, there is insufficient

information taught, and it takes time for Africans to learn the
basics of literature and other subjects.

 Because of this and their lack of knowledge, many students do

not make it to secondary schools (high schools) or universities.
