Professor Koning English 113B 06 th April 2014 Lesbian Bisexual Gay Transgendered I choose to talk about sexuality, which also include gender for my next political paper. And by sexuality and gender I want to argue about the normal couple of female and male to other couple of the LBGT community, which is lesbian, bisexual, gay, and transgendered. So far I have been supporting this community because to me every coupe is the same, they have their love to be together and therefore I want to argue for them, support their ideas. I still have a lot of questions about LBGT community because I think they are very interesting for me. They are interesting as couples and also as each individual, I support them for being equal like everyone else. I have a lot of friends that are gay and especially lesbian. I myself is a tomboy, who is girl that want to act like a boy and live like a boy and I also know a lot of people do not except me as a tomboy either like my and some other parents. Even though I am a tomboy but I also have a boyfriend like every normal couple, but I always have feeling for LBGT community. By writing this essay I want to understand more about LBGT rights, wars to have freedom that happened to them, LBGT stories and how the world react to them and vice versa. So far, I know LBGT is a countercultural movement as a couture group that people argue over a lot with the norms and value. Before and until the 20 th century, homosexual people were punish and in today days, people getting use to accept it but not all. As I know most teenagers at Bui 2
my age have no problem with people that are homosexual. There are groups of people that stand up to protect LBGT, even though not all the members are homosexual. Also, there are countries that accept gay and lesbian married and Thailand as a strong example of country that have a lot of transgender happened. Because there are not a lot of acceptation a lot of people getting depression of their lives, leading to suicide and more dangerous problems. Furthermore, lot of people cannot find their own happiness but still have to married those that they do not want to marry and this lead the family into devoicing or similar family situations. As for the 25 photos, I want to set up a slide of photo follow up the history of homosexual. Of how people have react to homosexual community; the punishment, accident that happened in the past, illegal, norms, rules. Then to the explanation of the LBGT community and people in the present Bui 3
