IMPACT
I believe that education is the beginning of a journey that will last for a lifetime. I
believe that education is an opportunity to provide the most valuable gift that could ever
be bestowed upon another person. Through education, people are empowered to change
which then impacts the world.
I believe that teaching is a gift. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to approach an
occupation that has tremendous potential to impact lives. I believe that the teacher has
power to make a difference. Through teaching the course of peoples lives may change
by providing them an opportunity to become better than what they once were. Through
leading and serving, teaching goes beyond the standards and targets the heart. Each
individual heart that is impacted by teaching is a world changer. Getting students to the
point where the believe that, is the difference a teacher can make.
In order to accomplish this I will never fail to communicate my confidence in each and
every one of my students. Through setting high expectations with love, I want students
to always feel capable and comfortable in my classroom.
I believe that learning should be applied on a global scale. Students should be
developing in the classroom with an awareness of the world around them. Learning
should extend beyond the classroom into real world contexts where the student is able
to apply their learning to their lives.
