Objective
I am interested in becoming a music therapist, focusing on children with special needs.
Education
Attended Buckingham Charter Magnet High School
Work Experience
Provide piano lessons to children ages three to fourteen, for about two hours every week. I
have helped children with focus issues, by introducing them to classical music, and teaching
them how to sit still for long periods of time. I have also helped a three year old gain interest in
music.
Nanny for a family with two children every few weekends for five hours. By accomplishing
activities of changing diapers, to dancing around the house, I have completely enjoyed my time
with these children.
Additional Information
I have taken eleven years of classical piano lessons from a well-respected teacher with a degree in
pedagogy. I plan on taking everything that I have learned from her, and everything I learn in college to
best help the children I will teach.
