We looked at different Photoshop technique websites to help us be more

creative and use different effects for our digipack cover and maybe the
magazine advert. After we have used the tutorials in coming up with the
final product we will still develop it further to make it our own and
unique to fit the criteria of a digipack cover. This also helped us to get a
few ideas for drafts.

These are some of those websites, when you go on them they teach you
how to try out things step by step which was really helpful.

All of these websites help us to develop our existing skills of Photoshop further
and let us play around with different effects till we feel that it suits our
genre and artist’s image. These are examples of some of the things it shows
us how to do etc:

• Add colours or take them away.

• Reflections
• Adding another dimension
• Energy spheres
• Dynamic lighting
• Fantasy lighting
• Water colour effect
• Circle pixels (pop art)
• Different text effects
• Adding sparkles
• Brush affects
This is to make the picture look
perfect, smooth and
professional. This is what most
celebrities do when they have
pictures taken to hide any
unwanted things on their skin to
make them look almost unreal to
the audience and have a softer
look.
For our digi pack we might make the picture of
her the same of colour as our colour scheme or
have bright colours flying out around her name.
This would help her image and name stand out
and look creative.
