Early Life:
She was born in chipping England in 1965. Her parents names are Peter James,
and Anne Rowling. In total she moved 5 times. She lived in Yate, Gloucestershire, and
Winterbourne. Later in life she had moved to Portugal and Scotland to teach. The name of the
school that she attended was St Michaels Primary School (High School). She seemed to have a
regular family growing up. I could not find a whole lot of information on them other than their
names and that her mother died when J.K was in her twenties. As a kid for fun she would write
and read stories to her family. She said she remembered one about a rabbit ("Scholastic"). She had
a good education as a child and ended up going to collage for a French and classical degree.

Professional life:
The main accomplishments of J.K are the seven Harry Potter books. That is the
series that made her famous. She has only written one book since then, Casual Vacancy. That
will be released later this year. A list of a few of the Harry Potter Books is Harry Potter and the
Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix. She has won multiple awards for her
works on this series of books. For example Booksellers Association Author of the Year. (Rowling)

Personal life:
One of the major influences of J.Ks was her mother dying. It changed her
writhing styles. She said in an interview that she made Harry Potter like her then. She was in the
early stages of writing the book so it was easy for him to change. A challenge that she has to go
through was getting divorced. This was tough for her. She was later diagnosed with clinical
depression and had at one point thought about suicide, but did not go through with this decision.
A few interesting things about her are that she was an ambassador for one parent familys for
about 7 years. This was a good charity for her because she herself is raising a child by her self.
She is also endorsed by Warner brothers.
