Extremely Proud and Dignified Brother and Sister Porters, St Theo's Day* of 2014 is
almost upon us. We call on Hospital Porters around Britain and across the world to
join each other and celebrate in any way you see fit. And keep the spirit of St Theo
alive for every other day of the year.

*St Theobald of Ruggerio was born in Piedmont in Italy in 1170 and became famous for carrying sick
people into towns from the countryside for medical treatment. He is the Patron Saint of Hospital Porters
and his feast day is June the 1
