To whom it may concern,
I am submitting this letter to gain approval of my senior portfolio, so that I may graduate from
Buckingham Charter Magnet High School.
I have spent the last four years attending Buckingham Charter Magnet High School, to gain the
education I need to graduate and continue on to college. Many classes and teachers that have helped
me most along the way were Algebra 1, taught by Mrs. Weathers, World History, taught by Mr. Hawkins,
and U.S. History, taught by Mr. Buescher. I have also spent the last two years teaching classical piano
out of my home, preparing me for my future major in pedagogy.
Following graduation, I plan on moving up to Portland, Oregon and attending Portland Community
College to finish my general education. When done with my general education I plan on transferring to
Oregon State college to acquire a degree in pedagogy. To do this I must take different musical classes.
These classes would consist of music theory, composition, and history of music among other classes that
will provide teaching credentials.
I look forward to my high school graduation and my life after.
