Clean up that Spill!!

GRADE 8 Fluid Challenge

Situation: You and a team have to design and build a device that can clean up
an oil spill with as little damage to the natural environment as possible. The
device must use at least ONE method of clean up, with extra marks for two or
more methods used with the same device. Included in our plans must be a wa
to calculate environmental damage from using the device. The most obvious
wa being to measure how much oil is removed, and how much of the natural
environment !water" is removed or damaged.

Research and Brainstorm:
Each team member must think of their own individual idea. The sketch must be
done on graph paper with a one paragraph explanation of how it will work.
