ABOUT WIDOWHOOD
Losing a loved one, a
spouse especially, is
considered one of lifes most
trying experiences. This
tragedy is especially stressful
for women, who arent
always encouraged to build
nancial and emotional
indepence while their
spouses are alive.
In result, widows are
forced to face and deal with
grief and loneliness- both
normal. On top of the
emotional instability, they
may also have fears/doubts
about their nancial security
and their ability to function
without their spouse.
However, these
problems can be dealt with
successfully, of course with
time and work. Believe it or
not, widowhood can actually
signify the very beginning of
a new start. It can actually be
a highly empowering and
satisfying chapter of a
womans life.
