Cassville Shootout Rules and Instructions

League Rules:
1) We will play two 18-minute halves with a running clock
2) The clock will stop only in the last minute of the second half.
3) All shooting fouls will be 1 for 2.
4) The only time free throws will be shot is in bonus and double bonus situations
5) Personal fouls will not be kept but team fouls will be kept
6) Each team will be allowed two timeouts per game
7) Overtime will consist of a 2 minute extra period. Clock will stop in the last 30 seconds of the OT
period. Any additional OT will be sudden death.
8) Teams will need a reversible practice jersey. The team listed 2
nd
will wear its home colors.

*Officials will be from the Joplin Association. We hope to have two officials in each gym for each game.

*Water coolers for each bench will only be provided in the H.S. Gym. Concessions will also be available
in the High School Gym, and pop, Gatorade, water, and candy will sold at the other two gyms.



2 Minute Tournament Rules
2 minutes will be put on the clock.
All teams will be in single bonus.
Each team will have the option to either be down by 1 point with the ball or up by 1 point on defense. The team
that wins the coin toss will get to choose which option they prefer.
Each team will also have 1, 30 second timeout.
Brackets will be made at random.
Each winning team continues to play in the 2 minute tournament.
