POEMS INSPIRED BY TAGORE A SERIES

SARANYAS LIGHT

Light dancing light
I can only imagine it kisses your sight

You cannot see me
But you know my voice
Your cries are calling me close

Your life in my hands, this is no choice
First you were a thought
An idea that I fought

Caring for you?
When the grounds shift askew
What an illogical view

Then you came, confidence beamed
My wife blissful in her screams
But drifting in and out of haze
She could not take you in her arm

So, I was asked to hold your form
How so, I wondered, how so?
You pulled my finger as if to say
Baba, Baba, Tumi Shey

Since then I ance upon a lights ray.
My wifes bliss
My sons kiss
For my family, I pray and pray
