K-2 Reptile Park Excursion

Dear parents and caregivers,

This term the students from K-2 will be visiting the Australian Reptile Park to complement and
enhance their learning in HSIE and Science. On this excursion, students will explore a variety of
living things and their lifecycles and will participate in workshops with the trained staff at the
Reptile Park.

Time/Date: Wednesday 18
th
June 2014
The coach will:
- Depart at 9:15am
- Return at 3pm

Transport: 2x Rover Coaches equipped with seatbelts.

Supervising teachers: Leah McFayden, Heather Eggins, Emma Johns,
Kathleen Harrison & Sarah Jones.

Clothing: Full sports uniform. Please ensure your child has a
jumper and a hat.

Food: Please pack all food necessary for lunch and recess
including a bottle of water. There will not be an
opportunity to purchase food at the park.

Cost: $27.00 per student to cover the cost of the coach
and entry to the park.

To ensure the supervision rate is in line with the Reptile Parks policies, we will require that 4 parent
helpers attend the excursion. To make this process fair we ask that you fill in the relevant details on
the permission slip and we will randomly select these from the pool of interested parents.
Additional parents are welcome to accompany us to the park but will need to travel in their own
cars and pay the entry cost of $19.

Please complete the attached permission note and return it with the money by Wednesday 11
th
